Raised Recess dimple dies are CNC machined to the highest quality from 4140 heat treated steel. This design lends itself well to the older cars from the 1930's and 1940's. This die creates a raised dimple with a counter sunk center suitable for 82 degree countersunk fasteners. The 3/8” requires a 3/8-18 bolt for die alignment (not included). It can be installed using a hydraulic press, an impact gun, or a large bench vise. Also works well with our HF D-100 Hydraulic Installation tool. You will need to drill or punch a 3/8" hole prior to installing the die.
