Crater Maker Dimple Die Set - 4 Piece

These are the best quality made in the USA dimple dies available. These four crater maker dies are CNC machined from 4140 alloy steel, heat-treated for hardness, and tumbled in penetrating oil. Sizes are #10, 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8".

The #10 uses a dowel pin to align the dies while the others use threaded bolts. The 5/16 and 3/8 bolts can be used to draw the dies together however this hardware is not meant to last forever.

We recommend using the provided hardware as alignment pins or starting bolts and finishing the operation with a large bench vice or hydraulic press. The Crater Makers require a lot of force, much more than some of our other dies.

Use Anti-Seize or other lube to prevent galling of threads and dies!
