Guys and gals,
We've got several classes coming up. You may attend one or you may attend them all but this is the first step in a process we will be showing. Our class project this time is a 1937 Ford Slant Back 2Dr Sedan. The body is a good solid starting point but it has some issues that need sorted out before we can start building. First, the roof has been caved in slightly by a tree falling on it, the cowl panel has also been filled (butchered) and we are going to put it back to the way it was from the factory with a functional cowl vent. We will be demonstrating how to graft in this "junk yard part" with surgical precision. By the end of this class you won't be able to tell we ever replaced it. Also, we will be demonstrating how to deal with the tree damage. This will involve dent removal, panel straightening, door structure repair, and welding. In this class you will get to do some hands on TIG welding and metal finishing led by experienced instructor, Levi Green, owner of Hammer Fab. Our goal is to show you the right way to achieve excellent metal work in a step by step, easy to digest method. You won't want to miss this class or the ones to follow. Each class will build upon another just as if you were going to do on your own project. Taking all of the consecutive classes will really show you what it takes to get things done and plan out your build progress. These classes will be condensed over just a few months this summer starting in June and finishing the series in August. Please join us. We are eager to invest in you!
Class starts at 8am and ends at 5pm for both days. Lunch, welding supplies and power hammers will be provided.
